With the re-opening of Oconee public schools delayed until late August, the school district has decided to extend its summer feeding program through the 18th of August.  You can find times and pickup locations on the district website.  Any child, 18 and under, is eligible for free meals.

South Carolina’s Sunday report

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Suoday announced 1,170 new confirmed cases and three new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, 25 additional confirmed deaths and three new probable deaths.  Oconee’s numbers included 14 new cases, but no additional deaths.  DHEC announced one new Oconee death on Saturday—an elderly person who died on Thursday.
