Gun shot wounds one in Seneca

The police in Seneca found one person wounded by gunfire, and today request the public’s to provide information that leads to the shooter.  This morning the police say they are looking for a woman by the name of Kendal Ann Ellis, and they consider her to be armed and dangerous.  Anyone with knowledge of Ellis’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police at 864/885-2718.  Here’s what the police are saying about what happened:  Around 1:30 Friday morning, a wounded male drove himself to a home on the 700 block of E. Main Street.  He was later sent to the Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he remains a patient.  The police say they have written statements from the victim, from witnesses, and others.  They believe the shooting occurred on N. Stribling Street.  They went before a judge for a warrant alleging attempted murder.
