Seneca meeting is tomorrow

The Seneca City Council will assemble at 6 tomorrow evening at the City Hall for the July work session, along with a special meeting to follow the workshop.  Among business matters before the elected leaders is a supplemental contract for financial help through the federal “CARES” act.  The mayor and council will also hear the financial outlook for the city’s Light and Water Department.  The utilities system was taxed heavily by the expense, time, and efforts to clean up damage from the April tornado.  And the city is hopeful that an application to the federal government will reimburse the city for as much as $5 million expended.
