Tech’s academic year will open August 17

The business of Tri-County Technical Education will resume Monday, August 17 in eight different course delivery methods that will include face-to-face along with a combination of face-to-face and online.  Most courses will have a combination of online and on-campus instruction.  As much as possible, courses that require hands-on learning will continue in person.  Tech plans to deploy mobile hot spots to students who do not have access or can’t afford home internet service.  The college says that on its campuses it is taking the necessary steps to minimize the spread of the virus, and they include the wearing of masks.  Before returning to campus, students one time must watch a return-to-campus video and review weekly a COVID-19 health screening.
