101.7/WGOG NEWS has been told (at 1:30 pm) of a large presence of police and fire responders at the Burger King Restaurant at 123 and Radio Station Road, Seneca.  No further details immediately available.  One officer told us he thinks there has been a shooting.

Governor McMaster underwent a minor outpatient orthopedic knee surgery this morning, to address what’s called a slight meniscus tear suffered in 2022 while playing tennis with First Lady Peggy McMaster.  The governor’s office quotes the doctor as saying the surgery lasted fewer than 30 minutes and was without incident.  McMaster notified Lt. According to one city official, a bear was spotted early last night in downtown Seneca in the vicinity of the fountain in Ramcat Alley.  Word spread of an attempt to capture the bear by trap.
