New strategy for Oconee tourism

Interested members of the public are invited to a Friday morning breakfast meeting where a plan will be revealed for sustainable tourism in Oconee County.  Visit Oconee’s Ken Sloan recently remarked the county has no problem drawing tourists in summer, but could use a strategy to increase tourism during the off-summer months. Berkeley Young of Young Strategies will share the plan and take questions.  The breakfast meeting will be 8:30 to 10 am in the Community Room of the Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative.
