Rhett Evatt has died

Seneca’s Rhett Evatt has died.  At age 90, Evatt died yesterday at the Cottingham Hospice House.  As the president, CEO, and board chairman, Evatt helped grow Oconee Savings and Loan into a publicly-traded company serving upstate South Carolina and northeast Georgia.  He is survived by his wife, Gaynell.  Their marriage lasted 67 years.  Among other survivors is grandson Will Parker […]
