Missing woman found safe

A Mountain Rest woman, unaccounted for since late last week, has been located and is safe, according to word from the Oconee Sheriff’s Office.  Jimmy Watt, spokesman for the sheriff’s office, quoted an investigator yesterday as saying Teresa Dawn Witt is safe and was located after having been reported missing on Saturday.

1,105 new cases — 11 confirmed deaths

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) today announced 1,105 new confirmed cases and 9 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, 11 additional confirmed deaths and 7 new probable deaths.  The report today included nine new Oconee cases, but no deaths.
