SARS-CoV-2 levels at Clemson

Clemson University is providing an updated report on the levels of SARS-CoV-2 in the university and city wastewater treatment facilities.  Those facilities include the University Plant, the Clemson Cochran Road Plant, and Pendleton Plant, which also serves a portion of the city of Clemson.  Among the latest findings:  levels in the Cochran Road sewage dropped into the Level Two range, still a matter of concern.  However, officials had hoped for that improvement and speculate that it’s due to compliance with the city’s mask law.  They want to see a trend and concede the next sample could pop back up.  Levels in the campus wastewater popped back up.  The conclusion there is that there are still people working on campus who are still infected.  Everyone is asked to wear a mask in the public spaces and near people who are not in your household.
