James Ashton to wear one less hat

James Ashton has relinquished his post as codes and zoning administrator for Walhalla.  Ashton’s resignation was announced during the November city council meeting.  Brent Taylor, city administrator, said Friday there’s no replacement as yet.  Ashton also works for EMS and the Walhalla fire Department.

Water quality stands “met without exception”
