Wednesday’s Oconee jail report lists three charges against Mark Monroe Crowe including the offense of abuse or neglect of adult resulting in death. A fire engine and crew from Oconee County are lending assistance in fighting a major out of county fire.  Charlie King, Oconee fire chief, says the Oconee resources were sent last evening for a 24-hour assignment at the plastic recycling plant fire in Cherokee County.  The Oconee assistance is part of the South Carolina Firefighter Mobilization Plan.
