Domestic incident leads to arrest and multiple charges

After a domestic incident investigation, the Walhalla police arrested a Moore Avenue man, Harry Oglesby. Chief Sean Brinson announced charges against Oglesby of domestic violence high and aggravated possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a crime, and possession of stolen goods. The police responded to a report of shots fired and took a complaint filed by a woman identified as Oglesby’s domestic partner. Brinson says further investigation, thru NCIC—the National Crime Information Center—revealed that a handgun found by the police had been stolen in Oconee County.
