During a six-hour period last night, Walhalla public safety responders worked four separate traffic accidents, details of which were not immediately available to 101.7/WGOG NEWS.  The accident scenes included 183/the Westminster Highway; Church Street, Catherine Street, and the Bear Swamp area.

Intermittent delays are ahead today for drivers using a street connecting to Clemson’s downtown.  A contractor for the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church will patch asphalt today on Sloan Street.  The road will remain open, but flagmen will direct traffic and users may face short delays.

An Oconee sheriff’s officer said he clocked a BMW at 72 miles an hour in a 55-zone Wednesday afternoon on SC 28/the Blue Ridge Boulevard.  The traffic stop led to charges filed against a 19-year old resident of Glenville, North Carolina.  Warrants show James Jacob Jocoy charged with possession of a stolen semi-automatic pistol.
