In-person balloting takes place tomorrow in Seneca to fill one vacant seat on the city council.  There are five candidates Kyle Nicholson, Donna Peppers, Ernest Riley, Delanio Taylor, and Jim Sites.  The place to vote between 7 am and 7 pm tomorrow in Seneca is the middle school gymnasium, 810 WS 4th Street.

A Seneca man arrested on a drug charge in Oconee may face trouble from the federal government.  Oconee Sheriff’s Office early Thursday arrested Efren Montes-Contreras on the charge of possession of one gram of meth or cocaine base second offense.  A hold has been placed on 44-year old Montes-Contreras by the “ICE” – Immigration and Customs.

The “CAT” bus drivers are taking annual training.  As the result, a Clemson-Central two routes of the free passenger service are in hiatus.  The Walmart/SWU and Red Route buses will start running again at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, June 3.

A section of a Westminster area road is closed this morning, as 1313 Greenfield Road remains a home fire scene.  Traffic is being diverted in the vicinity of Greenfield Road and Louie Street.
