A familiar face will return to Seneca city hall for a ceremony Tuesday, June 13.  That’s the evening when Ernest Riley of Cardinal Point takes the oath of office to fill a vacated city council seat.  The public is invited for the ceremony that’ll precede council’s regular June meeting that begins at 6 o’clock.

Two recent Clemson graduating seniors and two alumni have been awarded Fulbright Scholarships. Utica house fire

Fire burned a home during the night in Utica.  Fire fighters were called during the midnight hour and stayed on scene on Ames Street four hours.  No injuries reported. Chief Caudill of the Seneca Fire Department says heavy damage occurred and the cause of the fire is undetermined.  Red Cross is assisting the residents.
