Seneca’s special election results are certified

The results of this week’s special election in Seneca to fill a council seat were certified today, with no change in the order of finish.  Which means that Ernest Riley’s total votes were 274, nearly 34% of the votes cast Tuesday.  The order of finish remained the same with Delanio Taylor second, at 168; Kyle Nicholson third, at 152; Donna Peppers fourth, at 141; and Jim Sites fifth, at 73.  As is usual the case in modern day elections, most Seneca voters sat this one out.  The turnout was 13.69% of those who could have voted.
