Loose dogs roam Walhalla

The police in Walhalla are getting complaints that dogs are running loose, in violation of the leash law.  The police say, “We do not want to see your pets get hurt or your pet hurt someone else.  Please restrain your dog within your property and when leaving the house with your dog, be sure to use a leash.”

South Carolina test positives drop below 10%

Over the weekend, South Carolina recorded test positivity percentages of below 10%.  For Saturday, it was 7.8%; for yesterday, 8.8%.  The percentages were based on test results statewide of 33,670 on Saturday; 35,718 yesterday.  On yesterday’s report there were 2,228 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.  Among them were 30 Oconee County residents.
