Kathryn Hix
Westminster – Kathryn Elaine Hix, 57, of 110 Hix Drive, passed away Sunday, January 31st, 2021 at her residence.
She was a native of Oconee County and was the daughter of the late Billy Harold Hix and Brenda Gail Honea Wilson and adoptive parents, the late Eugene and Annie Sue Hix Ramsey. Kathryn worked at the original Lucky Strike Restaurant as a waitress for 28 ½ years and one of her greatest passion was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle and riding thru the mountains.
She is survived by sons, Bryan Simpson (Mykayla) of Westminster, Lee Simpson of Anderson, Dakota Arnold of Alabama; brother, Bubba Hix (Kim) Oakway; sister, Debra Radford (Ronald) Chesnee; five grandchildren; niece, Crystal Hix Bost of Seneca; nephews, Billy Hix of Oakway, John Radford of Chesnee, James Radford of Chesnee; great niece, Emercyn Petrie; great nephews, Thaxten Bost and Cuyler Bost.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
