Sheriff Crenshaw has named a new school resource officer at the Fair-Oak Elementary School.  He’s Keith Brooks who worked 18 years in law enforcement before joining the private sector.  And there’s a new jail guard at the county detention center.  He’s Isaac Salter, who worked two and a half years at the Greenville County Detention Center.

A body was found this morning at the West Union Post Office.  The town police chief, Joshua Eppes, says the death is being investigated by the coroner, but there’s no reason to believe there’s any danger to the public.  Eppes says his department was alerted to the situation around 4 this morning.
