Man found dead inside West Union Post Office

The coroner has ordered an autopsy on the body of a 64-year old man found around 4 am in the lobby/mailbox aisle of the West Union Post Office.  Coroner Addis has received information to indicate the man, not yet identified by name, was considered homeless.  The West Union police chief, Joshua Eppes, said there’s no indication of danger to the general public.  According to Addis, the death appears to have been a medical event in which the man collapsed and sustained injury to the face and head.
