Head-on crash kills driver in rural Oconee

A 43-year old man reported missing by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office May 28 is no longer missing, according to the law enforcement agency.  Investigators were told yesterday morning that William Sidney Brown was located out of state and that he has made contact with his family.

Estimated 100k gallons of sewer leak at Richland

The Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority (OJRSA) is currently working to repair a collapsed sewer line on Sandifer Boulevard (U.S. Highways 76 and 123) near Richland Creek in Oconee County.
