Like father, like son

Oconee County’s Kevin Brown has been appointed commander of Troop 3 for the South Carolina Highway Patrol.  Named by the state Department of Public Safety, Brown succeeds Major Michael Carson to command troopers in Oconee, Anderson, Pickens, Greenville, and Spartanburg counties.  Kevin Brown’s dad, Neal, is a retired captain who led Troop 3 from 2006 to 2010.
