A 59-year-old Greenville man, David Smith, has been identified as the fatality in an accident last Wednesday at 1170 Simms School Road, Central.  Pickens Coroner Kelley said Smith was an unrestrained driver whose vehicle left Simms School Road and hit a telephone pole shortly after 9 am May 17.

The Pickens County coroner has identified a 21-year old Anderson man the victim of a homicide last weekend in Clemson.  Coroner Kandy Kelley said Logan Nathaniel Markis Williams died of a gunshot wound to the chest Saturday at 673 Old Greenville Highway.  The Clemson police are investigating.
