Objectives are for hazardous fuels reduction and to reintroduce fire into a fire dependent ecosystem. Smoke impacts should be short duration and minimal and tracking toward Pickens, SC. Smoke will be visible on Lake Jocassee.

The results of an autopsy yesterday confirmed that a 62-year old Seneca man died of a single shotgun blast to the chest in an incident Wednesday night last week outside his apartment. Coroner Karl Addis says the manner of Ronnie Lee Cobb’s death is a homicide. The police charged a Cobb neighbor, William David Morgan, with murder.
