Flower unique to Oconee to be celebrated

Dan and Sherrie Whitten are explaining their admiration for a white flower which blooms in only a few places on the planet, including Oconee County.  And the Whittens draw attention to this year’s BellFest, a one-day festival at the Devil’s Fork State Park where guided tours will be offered Saturday, March 18 to see the Oconee Bell, a white flower that blooms from an evergreen plant and can be seen along a one-mile path within the park.
