More than 160 entries formed last night’s Seneca Christmas Parade.  And parade lineup director Julian Davis calls the formation the largest ever.  Held on the last Monday night of November, the Seneca parade launches a busy schedule of similar parades throughout the county in the next handful of days.

State troopers are reporting an accident within the last 15 minutes on US 76 between Clemson and Anderson, in front of Tri-County Tech.  A passerby indicates two cars involved and rescue personnel at the scene.

Elections to fill seats on the board of directors for Oconee First Steps will take place at noon Thursday, December 7 in the council chambers of Seneca City Hall.  A nominating committee will present a slate of directors, but nominations may be made from the floor.  The public is invited.
