West Union is in the marketplace for a new attorney. The town council last night accepted the resignation of Ann Sullivan. Mayor Oliver says Sullivan represented West Union’s legal interests for the past five years.

South Carolina DHEC fined a Lake Keowee home builder $8,400 dollars for violating the state’s Pollution Control Act and Water Pollution Control Regulations.
