Worker accused of stealing from employer

Nearly two years after the crimes took place, an Oconee County woman has been arrested on charges of stealing from her employer and defrauding the state’s lottery.  In reports released by Oconee Sheriff’s Office the accused—Peggy Beatrice Sullivan—was identified by a Stop-A-Minit loss prevention officer as a terminated employee at the store’s highway 11 location south of Westminster.  Arrest records show three charges of lottery fraud and seven charges of breach of trust with fraudulent intent against 46-year old Sullivan.  Investigators used camera surveillance between the dates of October 3-10, 2020 to help make their case.
