Anderson event turns violent

Body of lake boater retrieved Saturday night

The office of Pickens County coroner identifies Easley resident Francis Andrew March the victim of a suspected drowning in the Saluda Lake.  According to deputy coroner Tommy Page, March jumped from his boat late Saturday afternoon, submerged but did not re-surface.  The body was recovered just before 8 o’clock Saturday night.  Multiple agencies are investigating the incident.
