Why Sandifer believes H. 4622 would help patients

Seneca’s state lawmaker, the District 2 lawmaker Bill Sandifer, believes a House-passed bill would help those who pay health care charges — especially those left dumfounded by the charges and left to wonder why they are so high.  After having arrived in Columbia this week, Sandifer spoke to 101.7/WGOG NEWS about the approval of H.4622, now being reviewed by the Senate.  The legislation would require healthcare providers to issue itemized bills in plain language within 30 days.  If approved in the Senate — and signed by the governor — H.4622 would become law in January.
