Why a retiree is motivated to serve others

After a career with Duke Energy, Richard Ledford could have taken it easy.  Instead, he’s giving to others through his work as president of the board of directors of Our Daily Bread in Seneca.  He’s not the only Ledford working on behalf of the soup kitchen; he has influenced family members to volunteer for the public good.
