Westminster opens recreation contractor bids

Multiple builders are interested in contracting for the job of phase one construction of the Hall Road Recreation Complex.  Kevin Bronson, city administrator, opened bids from four companies, including two that have offices in Easley and Greenville.  Responding to RFPs, the hopeful contractors sent boxes of their proposals to the city hall.  And that this morning left Bronson and his assistant, Reagan Osbon, the task to wade through piles of binders to find the cost figures to build the ballfields and other recreation amenities.  According to Bronson, it appears the bidders have stayed within the neighborhood of the monies that the city has accumulated for project phase one.
