Westminster man nabbed in Georgia STING operation

A driver from Westminster and his passenger have been charged in Georgia – the result of an August 25 STING K9 Unit operation conducted by Stephens County officers on the Big A Road.  And, according to a WNEG Toccoa report, because a swastika flag and pin found in the truck, FBI agents have told the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office they want to speak to driver and passenger.  The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office have identified driver Bobby Holbrooks, 63-year old Westminster resident, and Brandon Griffin, 38-year old Toccoa resident, as the two arrested.  Charges against driver Holbrooks are listed as DUI, possession of firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a controlled substance, possession of an open container, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, possession of marijuana, and taillight requirements; against passenger Griffin as possession of firearm   during the commission of a felony, possession of a controlled substance, possession of open container, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, and possession of marijuana.
