West Union inflation worries

The outside auditor for West Union says the only recourse the small town has to soften the blow of inflation is to pass increased costs onto its public.  Michael McGuinn, CPI in Easley, gave his opinion last night at town hall in response to a question by the town attorney.  He had just given copies of the town’s audited financial statements for the year that ended March 31.  He told the mayor, regarding rising costs, “Everything’s going up.”
