“We are still gathering information” — McCormick

Oconee’s five school trustees for a second month have heard pleas to resist combining the Tamassee-Salem and Keowee elementary schools into one new school, at a new location.  101.7/WGOG NEWS asked board chairwoman Denise McCormick if either she or her colleagues have been impressed enough to accede to the wishes as expressed by Tamassee-Salem supporters.  McCormick yesterday said, “We are still gathering information.”
