Walhalla to be in touch with real estate agent

The decision after a closed meeting yesterday of Walhalla City Council is for Oconee’s second largest municipality to “get moving in the next couple of days” to secure the land needed to build the city community center.  Celia Myers, city administrator, says an approach is to be made with a real estate agent for property purchase and, once that is agreed, a formal announcement of the particulars will be made.
