Walhalla police charge a Fountain Inn man

The allegation, as noted in law enforcement records, reads:  “Exposing Another to HIV Virus.”  Capt. Tim Rice, interim Walhalla police chief, says notification was received from the police in the Greenville County municipality of Fountain Inn that a 32-year old resident of that city was being held in the Greenville Detention Center.  According to Rice, Nicholas Fount Phillips has been transferred to the Oconee Jail and the Walhalla police served a warrant charging 33-year old Phillips with the exposure offense in an incident late last year in Walhalla.
