Walhalla city workers stood out in 2022

The Walhalla city administrator, Brandon Burton, credits the city’s employees’ work and their cooperation for an efficient year of city government in 2022, and the second-year city administrator looks forward to the New Year with optimism.  He gave the city council a report this week on the results of an employee appreciation get together.  Several individual employees were singled out for especially good performances including Michael Moss of the Public Works Department and Brad Hancox and two of his fellow workers in water and sewer.  Moss was named Walhalla’s Employee of the Year.  Hancox was mentioned by Burton as especially skilled work in responding to difficult night time sewer leaks.  According to Burton, Hancox often tramples around until he finds the source of the problem.
