Variance lowers side setbacks to zero near Seneca
Single-family attached townhomes appear to be in the offing at the SC 59/Wells Highway intersection–even though owners of single-family detached homes nearby are concerned. The Oconee Board of Zoning Appeals last night decided on application for the developers met all required criteria. In this instance, a 5-foot variance was granted, reducing to zero feet the side setback rule on the property. Victoria Herron, who shares a home there wit her grandmother, was one who registered opposition.
