Utica man arrested after incident in Seneca subdivision

The police in Seneca say they found a dog, a sawed-off shotgun, and drug paraphernalia last week inside an illegally parked car in the driveway of a home in the Madison Pointe subdivision.  A 31-year old Utica man, Andrew Wilson Potts of Lonsdale Street, was jailed Saturday on the following charges:  possession of a sawed-off shotgun, parking on private property without permission, abandonment of animals, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the use of license plates other than vehicle issued.  A Seneca policeman on patrol at 2:30 in the morning said he became suspicious when he spotted a car pull erratically into a Madison Point driveway.  Animal Control took custody of the dog.
