Unsafe to save an historic wall

Contrary to Seneca’s wish, a remaining brick wall in the Harper’s building should not be saved, although it’s considered historic in the old building that dates back to the late 19th century.  So, with the report given by Scott Moulder, the city Improvements Corporation gave its approval to new demolition work in the project to rehabilitate the old building with the intent of the city to re-sell for private development.  Moulder gave his account yesterday at the Improvements Corporation board meeting, based on communications that he has received from Harper’s Plaza contractor Hogan Construction.
