Two, new Oconee K-9 officers (Zeke and Chase)
Oconee Sheriff’s Office has placed two new, K-9 officers on the job of detecting explosives and illegal narcotics. An oath of office was given by Sheriff Crenshaw during a meeting of the Sheriff’s Office Foundation to K-9 Officer Zeke amd K-9 Officer Chase. Deputy Heaton will handle Zeke, formerly with the Clemson police, while Deputy Johnson will handle Chase, formerly of the Mount Pleasant Police. Chase is a black lab and 18 months old; Zeke is four years old and also a black lab.
