Two Clemson players sued civilly

Published reports this morning show two Clemson football players—defensive backs Malcolm Greene and Fred Davis II—are the defendants in a civil lawsuit filed yesterday in the Pickens County Common Pleas Court.  The plaintiff is identified as U-S postal worker Karen Alvarez, injured when her mail truck was allegedly hit by Davis’s car on U-S 123, just to the Greenville side of Clemson, in the summer of 2021.  According to an Associated Press report, the lawsuit alleges Davis and Greene were racing their cars and driving recklessly.
