Trustees prepare for a new school year
Physical safety and enhanced mental health services are at the top of a new set of goals of the five-member Oconee School Board of Trustees for the 2022-23 year–a school year that will start next month in Oconee County. Steve Hanvey, associate superintendent, says the objectives were voted on during last night’s trustees’ meeting. The school district is getting a new food provider in the new year–and the prices for both breakfast and lunch were approved. Further details on these matters are being aired in a 101.7/WGOG NEWS interview with Hanvey.
