Training workshop has begun

Led by a representative of the state Municipal Association, a workshop to train and orient Walhalla’s new city council is underway.  Among what the mayor and the council will see is a video presentation by the utilities superintendent of what the crews typically are faced, such as the repair of a water line break that creates holes filled with water which require the crews to don wading boots and other protective clothing.  The city has a new mayor, Tim Hall, who told 101.7/WGOG NEWS the city has a “good team” for the next two to four years, and he’s looking forward to the chance to accomplish good things for the city.
