“Town Hall” recommended on quarry status

Wayne McCall has been off Oconee County Council the last four years, but still gets calls from customers of the county’s rock quarry.  And, while McCall, refers those calls to his successor, District Two’s Matthew Durham, he still has opinions about how to keep in service the county’s multi-million dollar enterprise rock quarry. District Four’s Julian Davis this week acknowledged a plea from Chris Martin of Palmetto State Haulers that the county would be wise to a hold a town hall meeting to allow quarry customers to relate their opinions about the quarry.
