Tom Jordan knew Herschel Walker early on

When Tom Jordan knew Herschel Walker during Walker’s high school days in a small Georgia town, he never imagined Walker someday would run for a seat in the U-S Senate.  Jordan, a long time football coach at Seneca and West-Oak high schools, thought way back in the late 1970s that if Walker ran for anything, it would have been as an Olympic track athlete.  Early in what turned out to be a long coaching career, Jordan helped coach Walker in high school in Wrightsville, Georgia.  There, Walker played track and football.  It’s go to the polls day tomorrow in Georgia, where voters choose either Republican Walker or Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock for a six-year U-S Senate office.  Asked how he sees tomorrow turning out, Jordan says a Georgia friend of his thinks it’s 50-50, depending on who turned out to vote.
