To avoid conflict, Westminster subs outside attorneys

The outside attorney representing Westminster has joined the firm representing the potential plaintiff and yesterday, in special meeting, Westminster City Council hired a replacement.  This, as Westminster and other possible defendants, prepare for tomorrow’s mediation proceeding.  At issue during tomorrow’s proceeding is Seneca’s threat to sue Westminster and other parties over their refusal to grant Seneca more voting clout on the board of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority.  According to explanation provided by Kevin Bronson, Westminster administrator, the attorney in the Willoughby and Hoefer firm has joined the firm Seneca has employed.  On a unanimous vote, Westminster Council approved the John B. White Jr. law firm as its new litigator.  Bronson, along with Mayor Brian Ramey and in-house attorney Andrew Holliday are to be present at tomorrow’s proceeding.
