Time to talk tax support, says fire chief

A series of meetings for those who live or do business inside Oconee County’s Corinth-Shiloh Fire District is being announced by Chief Kevin Christenbury.  The fire fighters are seeking tax support for their cross-trained calls of duty.  The first two meetings will be 5:30 to 6:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday, May 14 and 16 at the Corinth Baptist Church on the Old Seneca-Clemson Highway.  Christenbury says, “These meetings will provide updates on the department’s progress, challenges, and details about the Special Election Process.  Join us for one or all of the meetings to engage in the discussions.”  A third meeting will take place Saturday, May 18 at the fire station and start with a pancake breakfast at 9:30.
