Three people suspected in robbery

The police in Lavonia, Georvgia believe as many as three people, in form or another, took part in the Tuesday robbery of a Truist bank.  Lake Hartwell Radio WLHR quotes the police chief as saying the suspects are not from the Lavonia and do not pose a further threat in the community.  The man who robbed the bank is described as African-American, wore khaki pants, light-colored shirt, baseball cap, and surgery mask.  The getaway vehicle took off in a direction unknown.  Anyone with info that can help solve the crime is asked to contact investigator Shannon Westbrook at 706/356-4848.
